I love Sharks. There is something about those swimming “monsters” that is so fascinating to me. I grew up in Hawaii where they rule the waters on a regular basis. I often thought about a shark lurking somewhere underneath me in the ocean when I was swimming or surfing. It always gives me the heebie-jeebies. I once spent the afternoon swimming with an 8 foot white-tip reef shark while I was scuba diving in 70ft depths off the North Shore of Kauai, Hawaii. It was both terrifying and thrilling to see the large animal casually swim right over my head.
My fascination has lead me to a love of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, this year June 26th-July 3rd. All the munching gets me thinking about another little “muncher” in my life. My Little Man is almost 4 months old now and has started grabbing at things and putting everything he can in his little slobbery mouth. He gets my finger in there and goes to town! I am thankfull he doesn’t bite down that hard when he’s breastfeeding. Sheesh. I’ve been excited to add some new fun baby teething toys to replace my sore fingers.
This first one is my favorite because it’s been so easy for him to get his munch on: The Munch Mitt. It’s super soft and cuddly and baby is sure that have fun discovering something new every time they reach for it. It has a rattle, a mirror, and even jingly bells to keep the party going.
